Compliance Auditor
Summary
To successfully collect, organize, develop, and retrieve critical data to assist the Compliance & Denial Management Officer in the oversight and execution of Fi-Med Management’s Compliance Program. Identify, analyze and recommend solutions to resolve any compliance issues. Assist in team planning and goal setting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate, as a member of the Compliance & Denial Management Department, will assist in the auditing and education of and for the internal processes of the company, with special attention to charge & demographic entry, payment posting and appeals. The candidate will also assist the Appeals departments of Fi-Med with high-difficulty appeals.
Qualifications
Must have strong first-hand knowledge of the medical billing cycle, previous auditing experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects. Knowledge of healthcare compliance is a necessity. Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word. Must be detail oriented. Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines. Coding certification is required.
