Paul,
I appreciate your comments, too, Paul. You're right. Pros and cons to many aspects. I'm glad that as a country we have at least MOVED on this issue of health insurance for all citizens. In this country of plenty, with all the advances in health care, its critical that we begin to consider basic health care a right, and figure out a way to improve the quality of health for all versus to get rich on it but to improve the quality of life of all our citizens. Better health translates into prosperity for all.

Paul, thank you for sheding some light on a this long in the works Health Care Reform legislation. I too have been follwing this closely and reading everything I can find to understand how this will affect me, my kids and my elderly parents. There is much to know with these new changes, but the bottom line is, IT IS A START! Everything new takes some tweeking, nurturing and learning. There are pros and cons as you pointed out, but at least now, we have something to build on. I have heard about the death threats made to some of the politicans and even their family's and it just sickens me. Make no mistake, other countries are watching our reaction to this historic change and we need to show them that although we may disagree, we are still a civilized people. Thanks again for sharing.
