I needed to hear that message! I have a daughter who is in her 3rd year at BYU. Sometimes we argue and she reminds me that she is an adult and can make her own choices. I know that's true but I want her to have a great life. Your post reminds me that there is no need for me to nag my daughter about principals that I have already taught her throughout her lifetime. I need to be confident knowing that while raising her I gave my daughter all the tools she needs to make wise choices in her life. Your post reminded me of something that I already knew in my heart--that my daughter was listening and she will be fine! Your comments about your son hit home for me as well.
