You are right to say that every little bit will help; donating money to the Red Cross or even volunteering in their phone centers to answer questions would help out much more than just thinking that "I can’t be there". Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I just hope that long after the "newness" of this catastrophy has passed, that people will continue to offer support. Sometimes it seems like there is a huge call to action in the beginning but then people grow tired of hearing about it. Just like with Katrina-the need is still there.
